We offer a professional, safe, and unforgettable experience in one of the co-operative mines of Cerro Rico
- Tours leave at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. everyday from the central office of The Real Deal Tours.
- We leave regardless of the number of tourists and there is a maximum of 8 people in each group, one
guide and his assistant.

- Duration of the tour is 5 to 6 hours.
- You will be provided with equipment including; rubber
boots, over-pants, waterproof jackets, helmets, and electric
headlamps.
- The miners’ market is our second stop, where you will have
the opportunity and the chance to buy gifts for the miners,
such as; coca leaves, cigarettes, soda, and even sticks of

- The next stop is a visit to the ore mill (refinery plant). This is
where the minerals that are brought from the mines of Cerro
Rico are purified using chemicals and machinery.

- On the way to the mines, we make a short stop at a viewpoint, where you can take the best pictures
of the Cerro Rico and of the city of Potosî.

Remember: this is not a tourist mine, it is a a working mine in
which over 200 miners currently work.

Private transportation is provided to all locations, you do not
have to walk or catch public transportation.
